About Dr. Rivera

Dr. Linette Rivera is double board-certified physician in Internal Medicine as well as Endocrinology and Metabolism. She offers expert guidance in Bioidentical Hormone Therapy and Aesthetic Medicine at Bella Mia Medical Aesthetics and Laser Institute in Tampa, Florida. A native Puerto Rican, she speaks fluent Spanish and English and offers all men and women the compassion and time necessary to help them achieve their health and aesthetic goals. She believes the secret to achieving a healthy lifestyle and a better quality of life is restoring hormone balance and preserving beauty and confidence at any age. Dr. Rivera specializes in Bioidentical Hormones, Medical Weight Loss, Testosterone Replacement, and Thyroid Dysfunction.

Dr. Rivera got her undergraduate degree from the University of Puerto Rico, then went on to pursue a degree in medicine at UCC School of Medicine, also in Puerto Rico. She did her residency in Internal Medicine and her fellowship training in Endocrinology at the University of South Florida in Tampa. In addition to her medical expertise, Dr. Rivera has extensive training in alternative medicine, allowing her to design treatment plans that combine the best of both fields. She believes each patient is unique and deserves a comprehensive, customized treatment plan that suits their needs and concerns.

Her internal medicine background and multiple certifications in neuromodulators, dermal fillers, laser therapies and women’s intimate health make Dr. Rivera skilled in treating your stretch marks, scars, melasma and women’s most common vaginal and cosmetic concerns.
